Tyler came in for his cake smash and milestone photos today. You’re only one once and it needs to be documented! When you book your childs cake smash with me (at my Ginseea Photo HQ studio in Umina) I email you a booking form, this helps to guide me which colour scheme you want for the cake smash as well as what backdrop to use for the milestone photos.

Included in your package is another set up for your Childs ‘One Year Milestone’ photos.

My absolute FAVOURITE part of these sessions is the bath! 9/10 babies love having a splash AND it’s a great opportunity to clean off the sticky icing and get bubs nice a clean :)

All clean and dried off.

It’s a big sensory experience for babies, playing with the cake, eating it and playing in the bath (and keeping them away from the balloons for as long a possible 😂) so often they fall asleep within minutes of leaving the studio.

Jakes Newborn Shoot.

I just LOVE these parent images. Jake was getting a bit over it at this point but we pushed through and I think it was worth it 💕

It’s 2019, I can barely believe I’m typing 2019! The last time I blogged (and terribly might I add) it was 2017, YIKES,

So let me reintroduce myself: My name is Ginny, and I am a maternity, newborn, family and cake smash photographer based in Umina Beach, Central Coast NSW. I love capturing memories that you can cherish. EXIST in photos, it’s so important for your children to have photos with you in it! But, that is for another blog post.

Below is a photo of my photographic studio. Let me be the first to tell you that this is a relaxing space. It’s a judgement free zone for all who enter. I have had dad’s catch some z’s while I settle their newborns, one year old’s shmear cake everywhere, siblings sprawled out on the floor playing with lego, the important thing is 1. everything is machine washable and 2. Have fun.

Family session winners

So this is crazy long overdue but I figure it's never too late to share right?! Earlier this year I ran a giveaway to win a family session. It was super popular and to be honest I was really overwhelmed with the response. You see, I LOVE taking photos (surprise surprise) my adrenaline always gets pumping during a session because I love capturing those moments, but also love delivering the gallery to my clients and hearing how much they love them. I pour my heart and soul into this business and it means so much to me when you choose me to freeze these moments in your life.

So Mikaela was the lucky winner of my family shoot giveaway! I was fortunate enough to shoot her son Elijah for his very first Christmas photos (he was in a super adorable Elf outfit and gave me the best smiles!) and she was elated when she found out she had won! We met down at Putty Beach for the shoot and hid in our cars away from the pouring rain and waited for the weather to clear! Turns out it was worth the wait because it was near perfect conditions. See, photographers LOVE cloudy days when shooting outside because it creates this beautifully filtered light!

Anyways, I'm babbling which I do ALOT. Here are some photos of this beautiful family
