Central Coast Photographer, PiP Family Mini session
Michelle contacted me to take advantage of my Playing in Puddles offer (still available!) to get some updated photos of her family.
Nathan + Adam are like chalk and cheese when it comes to their personalities but they’re both equally cheeky! We had a lot of fun at this location and enjoyed the sunshine.
Michelle’s review is at the end :)
“‘Ginny is so lovely to deal with and took some amazing photos of our family! She made us all comfortable straight away during our session and did an awesome job getting beautiful photos while easily managing our 2 boys who were in very high spirits.’”
Twins and a baby!
When Emma and I were discussing her goals for her newborn shoot she wanted to make sure we would get photos of the siblings together, one of just her 14 months old twin girls, a sleepy photo of Bub and a nice family photo. The best thing you can do as a client is to communicate your concerns, your goals and any questions you have so everyone can be relaxed and enjoy the your time in the studio!
Sibling photos can be difficult at the best of times, 14 month old twins is another ball game all together, but with a lot of team work we did it! Hats off to mum and dad, I’m sure home life can get a little bit full on but they’re obviously amazing parents to have such well behaved, gorgeous girls!
Here is a selection of their chosen images 💕

Extended Family Shoot
When Cara contacted me to do her family’s photos I knew it was going to be fun! I had an outdoor maternity session with Cara and her boys back in feb last year and her twins made me work for it (they’re the pure definition of double trouble 😂) but it was so much fun and I honestly loved their cheekiness. When the time came for Olivers cake smash, the twins were their usual cheeky selves nearly tucking into the cake before Oliver even had a chance 😂.
I love big family shoots, I know as a photographer it can be a little bit more difficult dealing with more people than usual but i really loved it, and I love that these photos will be cherished in the years to come. Coming from a large extended family I knew how cherished these images will be, but I also wanted to make sure we actually had fun so the smiles were genuine 😉
There is SO much to remember when it comes to these shoots, and I love them! Being the youngest in my family I’m used to my family dynamic and getting attention when needed (I’m pretty loud on the best of days) so that part is totally fine. But it’s the intricate nature of larger families, the partners who have married into the family, the sisters, the grandparents, the cousins, the aunties, the siblings, the parents - theres a lot of special relationships in there that NEED to be captured authentically and while I love posed shot, it’s all the little moments in between that really make you smile when looking at these images.
Happy Viewing!

Koda's Sitter Session
EEP! I could hardly believe it that it was time for Koda to come in for his sitter session, it literally felt like last month I was capturing him and his brothers for his newborn shoot. Not only has Koda grown but so has Laikin and Pheonix, it was beautiful watching these boys playing together, I bet Koda can hardly wait until he is running and chasing them!
Outfits can have the ability to make or break your photos, a crazy logo or fluro colours can really be a stand out for all the wrong reasons! So after chatting with Alana, we came up with a few outfit ideas that would suit the backdrops we have in mind as well as being true to Koda and his big brothers own style. I think Alana nailed the outfits for the boys!

Playing In Puddles Family Mini Session
Playing In Puddles Family Mini Session
Camilla and I met through a community bootcamp sponsored by Medibank called Live Life Get Active, when she saw my offer of Family Mini session photoshoot she got contact to book her session asap. You can find the info on the offer here. I only have 5 of these left! Eep!
I have a few locations that I like to take different clients too depending on their own taste or requests and when discussing a location for this shoot we spoke about how Camilla + Dave like to go for bushwalks with their kiddos and I immediately knew which spot I would take them to.
One of the things I get asked a lot before a session is ‘what do I wear?! what do my kids wear?!’. Believe me, I totally get how stressful this part can be because what you wear can make a huge impact on how your photos turn out. As a result I have started to send out colour chart and ask you to pick which colour pallete you like best and choose your clothes around those colours. A lot of the time clients send me a quick picture of their outfits all laid out on the bed to double check that they will be ok. I LOVE when clients do this, it not only helps me prepare for you session but it also helps you to get excited about your shoot because the hardest part is over, now all you need to do is turn up and have fun!
Images from the session are below, the image at the end is my all time fav, all 5 pairs of eyes look at me smiling and NO headships! Dream come true! Let me know which image at the end you prefer: colour or B + W.
“So happy with the photos Ginny took of our family 😀 Her choice of location was perfect for us and she was fantastic at keeping the kids (ages 1,4,6yold) happy and interested in the shoot. She had captured our family beautifully and I love the natural feel with trees and bush surrounds.”
